Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit this website, request the free trial or write to us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

If you fill in the free-trial form: your name, your venue's name, your phone or WhatsApp number, your type of business, the features you switched on in the board (if you used it) and the language of the page you send it from.

If you write to us by email or WhatsApp: your name, your number or address and whatever you tell us in the message.

While you browse: technical data about the visit, without identifying you (see section 6).

We do not ask for bank details or special categories of data.

3. What we use it for

• Contacting you to activate and set up your free Isbite trial with the features you are interested in.
• Answering your questions about the service.
• Knowing, in aggregate, how many people visit the website and which sections interest them, so we can improve it.

We do not use it to send you advertising, we do not sell it and we make no automated decisions with it.

4. Legal basis

To handle your request or message: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form or by writing to us (art. 6.1.a GDPR), and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to hola@isbite.com.

For visit statistics: our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it (art. 6.1.f GDPR), using only aggregated data that does not identify you.

5. How long we keep it

• Form requests: deleted automatically after 12 months if you do not sign up. If you sign up, they are kept for the duration of the contract and any applicable legal periods.
• Email or WhatsApp messages: for as long as needed to help you and, at most, 12 months if you do not sign up.
• Visit statistics: deleted automatically after 13 months.

6. Visit statistics (no cookies)

To understand how the website is used we record, in aggregate, the page viewed, where the visit comes from (for example, a social media link), whether it is a phone or a computer, the approximate country, the language and the buttons pressed (for example, the board templates or the WhatsApp button). When you send the form, we also count the type of business and the features chosen, without your name or phone number.

We do not use cookies, we do not store your IP address and we do not build profiles. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies either and only gives us aggregated figures.

7. Who can see it

We do not share your data with third parties unless legally required. To provide the service we rely on these providers, who act as data processors:

• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosts the website, receives the form, stores requests and statistics, and handles @isbite.com email.
• Google (Gmail): we receive the notice of each request and the messages you send us in our inbox.

If you write to us on WhatsApp, that message is also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer relies on the safeguards set out in the GDPR: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

8. What is stored in your browser

So you do not lose what you switched on in the board if you reload the page, the website remembers your selection in your browser's local storage (localStorage). It stays on your device only, never reaches us and you can delete it from your browser settings. It is not a cookie and is not used to track you.

9. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to hola@isbite.com and stating which right you are exercising. We will reply within one month at most. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

10. Minors

This website is aimed at hospitality professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.

11. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: all information travels encrypted over HTTPS, and access to requests and statistics is protected and limited to the controller.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we process your data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. If the change is significant and we have your contact details, we will let you know.

In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
